| 169383 | 2003-08-21 22:34:00 | Hi folks. I have recently purchased a newer computer running XP home. One small problem has now arisen. I connected my scanner - Canoscan N640P- but when I try and use it , error message comes up with OX 10FF0800. I went to Google and it said "Try to change the mode of the parallel port in the Bios from ECP to EPP" I have searched the Bios (which is Award Software) but I cannot find what I am supposed to be looking for. I cannot see any reference to Integrated Periphals or On Board Parallel Ports. Can anyone guide me on this please. Thanks Smithie. |
