This was pointed out to me by a friend, and I'm living proof that its true...

Its an interesting read, for those who do or dont use Microsoft applications!

169312 2003-08-21 12:07:00 How does the cafe plan on running the games under a non-ms os?...i would have presumed that was most of the business.

Of course, ive eaten my left foot a number of times after making presumptions.

169313 2003-08-21 12:08:00 It is an interesting article. :)

I was reading it early today after someone also posted it in the thread on the new MSN 6 EULA.

I can see more and more business moving in that direction as well, especially considering the costs involved for using MS products.

169314 2003-08-21 12:15:00 Two things:

1. We're more a Business Center Cafe.. not really into the games as much,

169320 2003-08-22 01:13:00 Well, I've done it: have finally taken my very first baby steps into the world of Linux and am posting this from Knoppix on the Win 98 box! :D

(You can stop nagging me now, Chill!! :p)

Oh boy, is it different!! I want to play with this on The Beast but Knoppix did not detect my external Dynalink modem. :-(

Makes me feel nervous because if Knoppix can't see it RedHat probably won't either...

So yeah, it is definitely different and I have got a HUGE learning curve ahead of me, which is rather daunting.

Heh, I can't wait until the kids come home to tell them they now have to use Linux! ]:)

:D
