| 169393 | 2003-08-21 21:27:00 | When I go Files/ in Word,there appears a list of recently opened documents.Some of those I've deleted,(the documents),but they still appear in this list.And of course clicking on them tells me they're not there.Now a friend here for this weekend has asked me how to clean up this list,so does anyone know how to? He has an old pc,Win 98. Thanks. |

| 169394 | 2003-08-21 21:41:00 | Hi Neil, In that list you mention mine stores 4 files. When you go open other files they then replace the ones that were in the list originally. I'm thinking that is the only way that you can get rid of the ones showing up in that list. Hope that makes some sort of sense. Pauline. |

| 169395 | 2003-08-21 22:24:00 | Hi Neil, do you have Spybot? That can get rid of the MRUs (Most Recently Used) items for you. :-) Remember that it will wipe them ALL, though, not just the ones in Word. |
