169844 2003-08-23 06:31:00 Just a quick question on serial ATA and raid.

I am just about to make a new computer up and am going to get 2x120GB serial ATA drives that I wish to set up as a RAID0. Now the question is can I partition this up using Partition Magic or does it have to stay as one huge 240GB drive?

169846 2003-08-23 06:43:00 Raid is faster. Why have Serial ATA if you are not going to RAID them? Big John (551)
169847 2003-08-23 09:07:00 yes you can partition them. the raid makes the 2 drives look like one drive so your basicly partitioning a 240gig drive. tweak'e (174)
