| 169767 | 2003-08-23 03:31:00 | I am trying to reinstall my hp 1200 scanner al in one software after having all sorts of virus probs, which were sorted out at my local comp. tech store, and I kepp getting the following window popping up as the software begins to install. At the top the window says the foolowing "msiexec.exe-i aiosw.msi trnasforms=setup\1033s.mst-I* "c:\windows\temp\h..." cant see what comes after that as the window ends there. I have downloaded a "scrubber" from the hp website to get rid of the old install.(the problem was pretrty much the same before I ran the scrubber) running win98 256 ram 40gig hdd thanks |

I also know that some hardware needs to have the software installed first before connecting. Canon printers are one such item. Bye |

All I can tell is that it is Windows Installer having a problem. If you can repost with a better version of the error message it would help. Exact spelling is critical. |
