169744	2003-08-22 23:23:00	Hi, Two years ago I downloaded (per Kazaa) the correct version of Scrabble- by Mattel - into Win 98SE and it worked perfectly I recently installed a second h/d using XP - copied and pasted Scrabble to it and it also works--EXCEPT after the loading of the game- which initially shows no problems, including the Mattel insignia, -once I get to play there is an irritating flutter on the screen-I deleted the copy and installed afresh off the CD - still the flutter. Smithie38 installed from the CD onto his XP and he has no flutter- which infers I have a setting to find- what???? I use 500CPU on both h/d and have 192 mb RAM -one works t'other doesn't Advice please effie c	effie C (772)
169745	2003-08-22 23:35:00	The problem here is that this software may not be compatible with xp. Try to right click on the exe file and properties. Under compatibliity click run this in compatiblity mode and choose windows 98	ilikelinux (1418)
169746	2003-08-23 00:36:00	Hi That is exactly why I am intrigued by Smithie38 loading - the same CD that I used,onto his XP - and it works- I will infact try and reset that compatibilty - but to be honest it just cannot be the problem because of the above install effie c	effie C (772)

169748	2003-08-23 03:46:00	Hi Fire-and-Ice, Yes it is - as we have learned by chucking ideas at each other and without be smart- have come a hell of a long way since we got together- he set his up XP etc when he bought a late model 'puter, and this after a disastorous term with a P200, - and only he knows how he felt- not happy! :-( My student/tech, tutor, just rang a few minutes ago and as well as setting up this modem speed - is going to try a new graphics card, which he is sure should fix the flutter- he confirmed the Scrabble was downloaded to a XP, so if it worked on my W98SE , as it did, must work as it does on Smithie 's set Thanks everyone effie c	effie C (772)
