| 169662 | 2003-08-22 19:04:00 | I have a CD-RW as a E Drive(D Drive is a DVD). The CD-rw is reading cd but when I go to back up data it say; "E Drive not Accessible The Drive is not Ready" I have tried deleting the drive and then reinstalling it but have had no luck or I am doing something wrong. Can anyone Help?? Thanks Paul |

| 169663 | 2003-08-22 21:43:00 | What backup software are you using and what OS? Also, check that the driver is a CD-RW one and not a CD-Rom one. I find CD writers seem to fail as writers quite quickly, have bought about five now. robo. |

| 169665 | 2003-08-23 04:49:00 | The operating system I am using is Windows 98 (Not SE) and the program I am trying to back up is Quick books, I have also tried other programs and they are not backing up. The CD-Rw is a Sony. | pskiwi (2823) | ||
| 169666 | 2003-08-23 05:17:00 | Can you drag and drop files in Windows Explorer to the CDRW? I have seen applications that can not write to CDRW's directly, so if it has never worked, you may have to backup to hard disk then copy to the cdrw from there. | wuppo (41) | ||
