| 169840 | 2003-08-23 06:16:00 | Am on XP Home. If I type onto an Outlook Express E-m page & send it, the person at the other end gets an e-mail. No problems. If I type a letter in Documents in Word 2000, then send to "Mail recipient", the letter is "Attached" to an OE page. When going to the UK & being recd on a computer the attachment can be opened & read. However, as in one case, if the other end is a "Sky E-mail" setup then that person cannot open the attachment letter. It is not a Computer as such. Does that make sense? So is it possible to send the Letter as a "direct" e-m, & not as an attachment, other than typing the whole thing again onto an OE e-m page. | 169841 | 2003-08-23 06:23:00 | If you "Send-to" it sends the file as an attachment. The easiest way to not have to type the email again is to Select all the text and copy and paste into Outlook Express and send from there. Mike. |

| 169842 | 2003-08-23 06:30:00 | PJ, In Word when sending the file to the recipient... use the FILE | SENDTO | and from the sendto selection use Mail Recipient ... and not the Mail Recipient (as Attachment)... option This sends it as a 'straight message' and not attachment so therefore should be seen within the body of the email.
