| 170151 | 2003-08-24 10:34:00 | ok so i have trillian set up and have for ages and occasionally (much more lately) i get messages from other people while they are talking to others..... not actually me and its almost like they dont see me when i tell them this... its like im connected but am just a watcher not actually taking part... i can only see one side of the conversation so its really weird them having a conversation by themselves... any ideas why its doing this? how can i fix it cos it drives me nutty... ive always got something coming up on screen when online from other peoples conversations, and it goes on and on even when i close the message box within the next reply from that person it comes back.... i could get some interesting gossip this way i guess but also does that mean im being seen when i am messaging to? stumped be |

| 170152 | 2003-08-24 11:09:00 | Spooky. Do you know what brand of instant messenger the others are using?,i do recall ms saying that they were going to block Trillions access to there chat servers,slthough i dont know if that has come into effect or if it could be related. |

If you still can't find an answer, post a message in the General Technical Support section of the forums. Sounds like good advice to me,heres there url www.trillian.cc |

MSN and Yahoo both support similar things whereby you can have three or above people chatting in a conversation. This will open a new window allowing you to watch people chatting or join in. |

| 170160 | 2003-08-24 22:51:00 | WTF have found that even when type something in they are not getting my messages.... so it cant be a invite as it doesnt tell me that either.??? and my contact (one of the main box pop ups) has deleted me... and we are starting afresh.... and see if that helps..... otherwise i have no idea how to fix it. beetle |
