| 170022 | 2003-08-24 00:46:00 | Toying with the idea of trying out Linux on an unused computer, but thought firstly I would check if a Dynalink External 1456VQE would work with the OS? | Curly (487) | ||

| 170024 | 2003-08-24 02:59:00 | Yes,the Dynalink 1456VQE works fine on my computer, running Mandrake 9.1,Suse 8.2 and Slackware 9.0.On my system it connects slower than the old Lucent PCI modem which I managed to get up and running(thanks to Geoff Palmer). Cheers Lachaln |

| 170026 | 2003-08-24 04:10:00 | For any hardware: just enter "make_and_model linux" to google. You will almost always find a definite usable/not usable answer. (The printer lists have an bad-news "paperweight" category --- printers are heavier than other periphereals). | Graham L (2) | ||
