It is still 30% slower to complete post though, so I will look at the cache. What about the BIOS AV? should that be on or off. I assume it is intended to catch virus activity on boot disks but does it slow things down? As will be seen by my more recent post, I have another issue with that machine now. :( Cheers Billy 8-{) |
