169992 2003-08-23 23:20:00 Hello,

Can anyone tell me whether I should have my DVD and CDRW drives on one IDE port or should I split them between IDE1 and IDE2? Putting the DVD on IDE1 and CDRW on IDE2, also should they then both be set to master if on separate ports.

My hard drive is a SATA 120gb drive on the SATA port.

Regards,
Dave

169994 2003-08-24 01:14:00 the best way is to have them on seperate ide's. it makes copying cd's easier. tweak'e (174)

Thanks again,
Dave
