170384 2003-08-25 06:50:00 Y'know how in Windows 2000 it automatically puts the files from your my pictures folder into the menu on the background tab on display settings. Well how can I change the directory it looks to and whether it reads subfolders or not, by use of the registry?

Can ya do this?

Cheers

170385 2003-08-25 21:36:00 I think we need more clarification. I am not sure what you mean about the background tab. If it is what I think you mean, can't you just click "browse"?

170386 2003-08-26 08:18:00 sorry, on the display settings in the select bg part it show pictures in C:\WINNT, C:\WINNT\web\wallpapers and My Pictures. I want to know if you can change the directories where the display settings looks for pictures an puts them in the listbox.

170387 2003-08-26 09:39:00 No idea about changing the directory, but is it not possible to just move or copy the images that you want displayed into the existing folder Win 2000 uses? Might be the simplest solution? Fire-and-Ice (3910)
