170375 2003-08-25 06:44:00 When I click on a pdf from the internet, it opens up in Acrobat, inside the webpage. When I close it, it locks up for a while, and then all the Internet Explorer windows close.

Any help?

170380 2003-08-26 07:16:00 I have win me on p4 machine and had no end of trouble with Acrobat reader v6.0.
So have reloaded v5.05 and system is now stable.

I guess v6.0 is for XP users although the official abobe site says that this version is ok for all.

My advise is to uninstall and reinstall previous version.

Regards Bruce.

I notice drwatson32 thing, pops up every time it crashes.
i was looking in the ctrl-alt-delete menu, (taskmanager?) and it came up there.

170382 2003-08-26 07:52:00 Are you installing v6.0 over v 5.05.

I have found that I must uninstall previous versions, and reboot before installing newer versions of reader.

Hope this helps.
