| 170349 | 2003-08-25 05:31:00 | With the new version of MSN Messenger, I am finding it increasingly annoying that you cannot tell it to start in the background, and not open the application as a window. Does anyone know how to stop this? |

In the new version that is ticked but greyed out so you cannot change it. The setting basically added " -background" to the shortcut that launched MSN Messenger. You can still add that, but once you are signed in if you use automatic sign-in, it opens the main Messenger window. |
