| 170634 | 2003-08-26 05:37:00 | Every so often, on my computer running windows 98 S E, a file appears on the desktop out of nowhere with the label "~"under it.The icon for the file is just the Windows logo. Could someone please explain what it is and if I can safely trash it. I cannot seem to open it, not that I really need to. just like to say thanks to all those who have taken trouble to answer by many questions in the past, I don't have the time Unfortunately to thank everyone individually, but it's really appreciated. |
