170418 2003-08-25 09:26:00 caleb is lucky but i have to say the whole team is actually lucky to be picked...considering the whole bonus payment crisis they had a while ago....would be glad to see that the whole crisis actually was worth it.... csinclair83 (200)
170419 2003-08-25 10:12:00 Good team . Caleb offers good cover for the wings and is solid in defence so Im not surprised hes the "utility" back .

Poor old Merhtens is not going to get back in - especially if he's not even the #1 kicker for Canty . Heard hes missed a few training sessions because of boozy nights as well . Whats going on there?

170420 2003-08-25 10:14:00 Still no-one has told me yet whether that is the game with the round ball or the oval ball? Terry Porritt (14)
170421 2003-08-25 10:14:00 Any more salivations about a collection of overpaid neanderthals? I remember when sport was played for enjoyment and did so myself. Ever heard of bread and circuses? brewer (4389)
170422 2003-08-25 10:16:00 Are you from England Terry? If so I can understand your confusion because you kick it most of the time in both games in the Nth hemisphere ;-) parry (27)
170423 2003-08-25 10:39:00 So why is it refered to as 'footie', when the object of the game seems to be to a combination of throwing oneself at the ground as often as possible and/or everyone scrapping on the ground with fingers in eyes and other nasty places ?:|

Or is it because another object of the game seems to be scraping ones booted foot down the face of someone who has already thrown himself on the ground, on the blind side of the ref, but in full view of the camera ? :)

170424 2003-08-25 14:11:00 No surprises there - we're damn lucky to have such a marvellous pool of talent to represent us Greg S (201)
