| 1346128 | 2013-06-17 09:47:00 | This is particularly bad as Trojans/rootkits go . Got a XP machine today with this one in situ . It can send passwords home and join it up to a spybot network, too, apparently . It knocked out the security centre, MSE, and the firewall and heaven knows what else . Cleared some of the crap with MBAM but the firewall is still missing in action . Long and short this is an old NEC P4 with a slow disk that has some errors so it is going to the junk yard . Whew! Now I will have to set up a new replacement laptop! At least it will run faster than the P4 . |

| 1346129 | 2013-06-17 11:40:00 | It can join a botnet. See if tdsskiller can remove it, or one of these AV ISO's. Firewall / other service reg entries are easy to reimport into the registry. Just find one on the internet and dbl click on it. For whatever OS you're using | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

It doesn't want to save desktop setting changes either. So, it is not worth doing any more, especially as the HDD is dodgy (4 bad blocks) as well. | linw (53) | ||
