And, in addition, adopt the more appropriate name of "Black Craps" until such time as they can actually win the game they are paid (handsomely) to play. Ok you can call a team by a nickname eg the windies or the aussies. But offcially naming is not a good idea imho. Similarly I get annoyed when a new player gets to join the New Zealand rugby team. They always say they wanted to play for the All Blacks. They should be saying I always wanted to play for New Zealand. |

They should be saying I always wanted to play for New Zealand.I havent thought of that one before, but I think you have a pretty good point there, they do dont they. Although, if you're playing for the All Blacks, you are playing for or representing New Zealand. And playing for New Zealand doesnt actually mean for New Zealands no1 team does it? (It might be the All Maoris or Maori Blacks or whatever they call themseleves for example) as we have more than 1 international rugby team (one for all New Zealanders, and one you can only be in if you are from one particular ethnic origin). Interesting.... |
