2012-12-31 05:29:00 | Win, XP, Vista, 7 & 8, Ubuntu, Mint, PCLinuxOS, various Puppies. 2013 I'm shifting focus to Android things, as at present, I have no knowledge there.

2012-12-31 06:16:00 | PCLinux OS, Win XP and Win7. Each has it's uses, just like last year. Tried Ubuntu, just like last year. Couldn't cotton to it. Tried a couple of flavours of Mint, but not seriously. Tried Win8 and am proud to say I didn't throw up. Next year will probably be the same but without the W8. Several versions of Android on the phone, about to try another "real soon".

2012-12-31 07:09:00 | Windows 7 at the beginning of the year, Windows 8 now. Got a copy for free from uni and loved Metro :D | pcuser42 (130) | |
2012-12-31 07:21:00 | Main office PC is Windows 7. The remainder of family's PC's are W7 as well. Some of the Workshop PC's and this one in the lounge are W8, including the Media Centre. AFAIK - they will be staying "as is" Have to use W8 as its pointless trying to service customers PC's If I don't know the OS, personally once I got used to W8, its no big deal to use - just have to remember which OS I'm using as hitting the Windows key in W7 doesn't bring up the metro start menu ( no Kidding). @ Digby FYI --- All MS OS's from vista onwards have voice recognition (Vista, W7 & W8) Been playing with Server 2012 ESS - a WHS replacement since MS discontinued it.

2013-01-01 00:39:00 | Win7 at home (the whole family is running it - far easier to support that way) and extremely unlikely to be "upgrading" to the abortion that allegedly replaces Win7 any time soon. At work I have no choice: XP, although there is supposed to be a planned upgrade path sometime this year to Win7...
