1320685 2012-12-31 00:02:00 And now the Stuff website shows it's flare for care (or the lack of):

Despite surging past "The Hobbit" on Christmas day with a US$1m (NZ$22m) opening...

from: www.stuff.co.nz

Note the exchange rate has gone berserk (NZ$22:US$1), but it will keep the exporters happy... but a new laptop might now run to about NZ$14,000. :waughh:

1320686 2012-12-31 03:47:00 I read recently that a survey conducted by the London Science Museum (www.sciencemuseum.org.uk) found people cared more about Facebook than having a flush toilet, and cared more about an Internet connection in general than clean drinking water.

If that's the case, it's no surprise then that standards for spelling and grammar are being quickly defenestrated.

And the worst part? These people breed!

Sometimes there appears very little difference as to what is on Facebook and that in a flush toilet.

1320688 2012-12-31 19:47:00 The Herald is quick to spot the unusual. I completely missed this phenomenon as the old year slipped away. Sunny skies at midnight should definitely make the front page: Thanks to the Herald's eagle-eyed scribes we get to share the historic event, but where were the photographers? R2x1 (4628)
1320689 2012-12-31 19:54:00 Or this.

Some of the offenders even handed themselves in. Keep the information coming about where they are.police spokeswoman Seven of South Auckland's most wanted offenders have been found after their mugshots featured in the Herald, with some even turning themselves in to police.

There's even less difference when compared with a long drop.
