| 170780 | 2003-08-26 20:25:00 | Windows tells me that i have a connexant soft 56k. When i go in to linux, and try the network / internet setup wizard, it says that this win modem is not compatible with linux. Can i get around this? Oh; i'm using Mandrake 9.1 |

| 170783 | 2003-09-09 10:29:00 | I have installed a Lucent Win Modem on both Yoper & Mandrake. It is faster than Windows. The Kernel should be 2.4. ** The driver is ' ltmodem-kv_2_4_21_0.13mdk.rpm' When you install it ignore 'dependencies' and any other complaints. Works very well. |
