170759 2003-08-26 11:55:00 A Few things might help up out here trying to help you..

1/ What are the specifications of your computer?

2/ What operating system are you using?

3/ What are you doing when it freezes? Is it at a certain time, or when you click a certain program, or what..

4/ You said its only started recently, what have you added or changed recently on your computer?

All that kind of info will help.

170760 2003-08-26 23:18:00 Suggest try the simple things first, when did you last clean the poor beasties innards, with power off check the connection into the port for damaged pins, has the cable got kinked, open Control Panel Mouse there may be a test button, does Device Manager Mouse show a fault, buy a test replacement mouse from Dick Smith they are pretty cheap nowadays FrankS (257)

170764 2003-08-27 02:20:00 Try the mouse plugged into a USB port on the PC itself.

The socket on the keyboard is a non-powered hub, and may be shutting down due to the power demands of the mouse.
