| 170907 | 2003-08-27 06:10:00 | Ah ... are you entering the website URL into the google search box field? Enter the URL into the address bar in your internet explorer (highlight and delete www.google.com from it first) and then hit enter. | Jen C (20) | ||

| 170910 | 2003-08-27 06:20:00 | That is not what I meant. I you are getting "hits" it means you are still entering the URL into the wrong field. In the address bar in your browser (this is the area that has the text http:// www..... etc displaying). Delete what text is in the address box completely, and then type in their site URL. Example www.myrelativesphotos.co.nz and then push enter |

| 170912 | 2003-08-27 06:32:00 | hmm .... in IE go to View > Toolbars. Is there a tick beside Address bar? The address bar is the long thin white area underneath the Favorites, Search, Media etc icons. It will have the word "address" in pale writing to the left of it. |

| 170914 | 2003-08-27 06:50:00 | So there was no tick beside address bar initially, but now it does have one and no white bar appeared? It should appear straight away. This sounds all very strange Beetle. Right click on a blank area of the IE toolbar and remove the tick from "lock the toolbars". Try resizing the area toolbar area (move the Links section) etc. See what this does. Hope we are not barking up the wrong tree here :) |
