| 171253 | 2003-08-28 13:29:00 | Hey I have a question regarding a friends computer. He has an old Dell Optipex with 256 RAM, 40gb hard drive, Windows XP etc, but the processor is only a Pentium 300. I've read about the slot 1 to socket 370 converters and it seems the converter would work for his motherboard, but I need to know whether to advise him to buy a Coppermine or Tualatin as I've read some motherboards can take the Tualatin core and some can't. MB chipset is Intel 82440LX 66mhz fsb Dell Chassis Serial Number: T1DY9 Thanks :) |
