| 171754 | 2003-08-30 14:14:00 | I formatted a partition of my harddisk and in doing so wiped all my documents and mp3s. This happened when I was trying to reinstall Win 2k on the first partition. Can anybody tell me if my information can be retrieved? If so how? Thanks. | nw3mrgc1 (3436) | ||

At my last workplace a machine was formatted and then ghosted ready for transfer to another staff member when the former owner returned wanting some files off it. Booted a linux box with the drive in it and still recovered a stack of information of it. Might be worth researching if it's that important to you. |
