| 171989 | 2003-08-31 08:59:00 | Hi I have just bought an optical wireless mouse (Genius). When I load the install. disc an error message comes up headed:UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: Error ox80070725. Incompatible version of the RPC stub. Setup will now terminate. The mouse works but it can not be programmed to do extra features. Any help would be much appreciated, plus whats a RPC? |

The fix that suggested running the MCrepair patch was only for Windows 2000,NT,XP so assume you never ran that one. Its difficult at the helper end when your windows version is unknown. For Windows 98, visit this link (support.installshield.com) and try this solution, unless its the patch you have just tried? |
