171877 2003-08-31 04:47:00 Hi all,

A couple of weeks ago I had trouble with the MS NZ site that lets you search for error messages and knowledge base articles, etc, and at that time I just thought it was a temporary thing. But I went there again just now and I still can't get it to work. This is the site. (support.microsoft.com) The page loads with errors (Object expected, d is undefined, etc). When you go to select the product or any other drop down box there is nothing to select, just blank. If I type what I want to search for in the Search (KB) box and click the arrow nothing happens.

I'm using IE 5.01 with Windows 98SE. Is anyone else having this difficulty or is it just me?

Thanks for any help,
Rod J.

171878 2003-08-31 05:24:00 This can happen if your security settings are set too high in IE

In Internet Explorer go to Tools\Internet Options

1/ On the General tab press "Delete Files" then tick "Delete All Offline Content" then press "OK".
2/ On the Security tab press "Default Level" then press "Apply" and OK

171879 2003-08-31 05:49:00 I can open that page and its links with no problems both in Firebird and Internet Explorer 6. It is interesting to note that the Firebird version gives me the US site and IE gives me the NZ/Australian site. Susan B (19)
