| 171818 | 2003-08-31 01:09:00 | hi there, I've been getting these, recently new, random system reboots in windows 2000 . The reboots are random, in a sense, that they only happen when I run windows explorer just after inserting a cd . The reboots dont appear to happen any other time, or any other time that I run windows explorer . Just after I insert a cd and the drive is still trying to read it . Is this a known problem? or just one specific to my machine? I was contemplating a full system reformat and re-installation if there was no easy fix . thanks |
