what is DPI on the settings tab? says if screen wording is hard to read change ?

from normal to large or is this dangerous territory?

wish it had come back a bit more normal than it did.....

172036 2003-08-31 12:17:00 Leave it on 96 DPI (Normal) as you need to find out why your fonts are so small, rather than just change this setting as a work-around.

You mentioned that a system restore has fixed your lack of minimise function with the taskbar. Do you know what thing might of caused this problem initially, as it may have some bearing on the font size issue.

172040 2003-09-01 02:04:00 Beetle, your small fonts might be because the monitor resolution has changed. Right click on your desktop, choose Properties > Settings and change the numbers to 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600 -- whatever is the smaller setting down from what you have now. Click OK and have it change it without restarting if it asks.

Those instructions may not be exact because I am on a Win 95 PC right now (POS) so you may have to follow your nose a bit. :-)

If that does not fix it, just reverse what you did to get it back to how it was.
