171915 2003-09-01 01:46:00 It's not good to correct a teacher, I got sent out of a class for doing that, and no matter how right I was, I just got myself in more trouble. Now you can see why we just learn their mistakes and learn from it not to make the teacher look like a fool. Kame (312)
171916 2003-09-01 09:37:00 Hmm, well that explains it for the teachers, what about the other class mates in my class, all of them seem to agree that is spelt with double G :( .

Well, any dimensons?

p.s. I have checked both sites, was I suppose to get the dimensions off those sites? If so where about on the site?

Thanks

Maybe they are associating "souped up" cars with Maggi soup.

171918 2003-09-01 21:15:00 I'm not sure what "dimensions" you are after. Do you mean the overall diameter? this will be 14" through to 22". Or rim width, 5.5 through to 10.5 inchs. or back spacing which varies from car to car.
As I said earlier no one has ever asked me for any dimensions other than those I have listed

Which would add nicely to confusion,as that is pronounced madgi.;)

Well, first of all I'll just like to thank you for your help and time (and also to others as well) and sorry if this had or would cause you any trouble . Well, I pretty much need enough dimensions to draw up a mag from scatch (stupid school project) . Maybe dimensions for the hub, rim, the thickness of the alloy metal, the width of the mag it self and the height . I hope that should be enought, cause that seem like a lot of dimensions already .

Thanks again

171921 2003-09-02 20:21:00 Sorry mate but I have never seen data on rim thickness.
Why dont you go down to your local tyre shop with a pair of calipers and ask them if they have a display mag you can measure up? Sounds like a great idea to me, would save days of tooing and froing on the net

One promising site was "Manufacturing Process and Technical Data" (for Revolution Competition Wheels USA, Inc.)click here (www.ttrsracing.com)

Cheers. :)
