2003-08-31 11:04:00 | i have come across a problem and wondered why or how to fix. not a major one and not a issue with my puter. when i want to minimise something to the tray by clicking on the name in the tray it does not? yet it still will minimise if i use minimise box at top right of screen. is there a setting to fix for this? as the other puter does this to, drives me nutty as i am so used to it being minimised by just clicking on the name in the tray. can i change this? is it something as easy to change as not reuseing the same windows box thats open ? recently changed (last 6weeks perhaps) confusselled beetle

2003-08-31 11:24:00 | it would make it easier if you stuck to 1 problem per thread you can solve the font problem by right clicking on a spare place on your desktop, then clicking properties then clicking on settings and adjusting it from there | Holy Cow (4475) | |

If it dosen't change, than you will have to go into the properties of each program |

2003-08-31 11:53:00 | thats like painting your house when the window sill is chipped. No need to restore, only adjust. You need a good man there to put you right ;-) | Holy Cow (4475) | |
2003-08-31 11:59:00 | at moment am running with text size large but it does not cover all web page stuff, minimise has come back with the restore though? LOL and mailwasher doesnt seem to have a properties or trillian either..so? and typing up this is probably size 6or 8? real small and makes feel i need glass's when i know i dont. may help to have brain in gear as its stuck in neutral it seems.......LOL and restore was a last resort option as i couldnt get it to change back to what it was no default setting it seems... and we got painters in so no idea how to fix the window..... :D :p beetle

2003-08-31 12:03:00 | Re: small font size Things to check ... Right click desktop > Properties 1. Appearance tab Font size = Normal 2. Settings tab Screen resolution = 1024 by 768 Colour resolution = highest (32 bit) - then click on the Advanced button > Monitor tab. Screen refresh rate = 85 Hertz Check these settings as some of them can affect screen/font size.
