| 171984 | 2003-08-31 11:15:00 | While I haven't used it, I suspect you only get DV/AVI out if that was the input source. There is also comment that DV/AVI files so produced are 40 times larger than WMV files, so perhaps you wouldn't want to do it even if you could. My suggestion would be to use on of the many WMV to AVI conversion programs. Just hit Google with WMV to AVI format conversion. There is 41,000 choices, one of the first few should lead you to a freeware or shareware package. |

| 171985 | 2003-08-31 11:24:00 | Just remember theres a HUUUUUUUGGGEEEE quality difference between working with avi and converting a wmv to avi. Infact,the loss of quality is enough to make the entire process worthless. Imo,give up on the ms option,head over to www.vcdhelp.com and have a look at the tools,theres plenty of free options,and a guge resorce on the site of user opinions and guidelines. |
