| 172497 | 2003-09-02 08:25:00 | There are a number of difference DVD writing standards out there, each developed and used by the different big companies, like Sony, Philips, Toshiba etc. (I think). They use different methods to write the data to the DVD, and as such it doesn't always work if you want to read it in another machine. Some of the standards are more ummm... recognised than others, so it might be a safer bet to go with one of those than the lesser ones. Mike. |
