172419 2003-09-02 03:04:00 "This Name" in the context of your question, is a log-in profile name .
Thats why you cannot "rename" it . If you could there is a chance you may remove all access rights to the folder(s)

That raises a lot of issues that I have seen turn to disaster . If a log-in profile gets corrupted, the entire folders and subsequent nested user data and files can be lost .

For that reason, I recommend that you create your own working directory, not under the "Documents and Settings" tree .

This is only where security is not an issue as anyone can see the files . It does make backing up easier as well .

172420 2003-09-02 03:12:00 Thanks you guys - sorry to be so thick (its not something that think I usually need to know though!) but how do I create a new account? Just that have set up a wireless home network - my PC has XP Pro and my wife's PC is XP Home and have been having problems accessing some of her folders to copy stuff into.
Cheers
