This way you do not receive unwanted emails, and would probably be ideal for your grand daughter's purposes. Of course, she would have to set up her address book with the people she wanted to hear from. Oxie |

If you are so worried that she is going to read a porn or another doggy e-mail (they are heaps out there ;) ) She can sign up for a yahoo e-mail address or use any e-mail address she likes & then she just signs up for the .net. Passport pit with out hotmail. You can do that here (register.passport.net) There are a few Pf1 users doing that :) Hope this helps |

Olldaddy76 - you don't need an Hotmail account to access Messenger or related services. All you need is your own email address. If you go to Passport.com you can sign up for a MSN Passport with your own personal email address (from whatever ISP you're with, or using another free email company) and use that to log in to MSN. That way you can use the services of the Passport, but not get all the porn and other spam. I've had a passport using my home email address for a couple of years (at least) and have never had any issues with it. Mike. |

I've signed up for a free Orcon email account, and have been using that for the last month without a problem. It just means I get a 10 meg email limit with Orcon, rather than Two with Hotmail.. ;-) |
