| 172148 | 2004-09-16 03:21:00 | Patience is not a beetle virtue i am afraid....... i have managed to get the net cable from down underneath the desk and when not in use disconnect it. it is pulled onto the desk so that i do not have to scrabble around the back of the machine.....:( just seems mean, i could rid lemon of this problem why can i not fix this one???? at times like these i wonder why i ever wanted a comp in the first place.....:p beetle |

| 172152 | 2004-09-17 10:13:00 | The only 2 settings i changed were, wake on alarm in the bios, which shouldn't have affected it anyway but i just made sure everything that could "wake" the comp was disabled. Changed the modem regional settings within Windows control panel from USA to NZ. Powered her down and the problem was gone,so it was one of those. |
