Heard the same rumour probably a year ago (perhaps less, perhaps more) in this forum... they're still around, and it's still a rumour. Go figure.

172221 2003-09-01 10:34:00 Quick someone, call Paul Hoilmes. Shock Horror!

Actually they are not buying any parts at the moment as they are the new sponsors of Press F1 and the sole advertising rights are very costly

172222 2003-09-01 11:13:00 About time the whole thing got dropped in my opinion. Don't believe things until it actually happens.

I've seen threads of a similar topic here before, also I'm sure iHug was closing down as well....

172223 2003-09-01 11:24:00 Yeah well there may be some people who could loose their money if they go, as you have to pay for the machine upfront and wait about 3 weeks for them to send it to you...... smithyh (4495)
172224 2003-09-01 11:30:00 Who says they are going under????? All it says is that they are getting an overseas investor. PCCompany are too popular among the computer buying public to go under and PressF1 wouldn't have them as a sponsor if it looked like they were going broke Holy Cow (4475)
172225 2003-09-01 11:47:00 of course they wouldn't smithyh (4495)
172226 2003-09-01 12:24:00 Macrocom computers went the same way (remember them). Didnt have enough cash to buy parts to make computers, so couldn't sell them.

Computer manufacturers come and go.
