| 172196 | 2003-09-01 06:11:00 | Does anyone know where my friend can download a version of MSN Messenger for his Win95 computer? He tried downloading MSN Messenger 5.0 for Win95, but it wouldn't load. Someone said that version 4.7.200 wouldn't get locked off. Does anyone know where he can get this from? At the moment he's surviving with 4.6, which every time it loads complains about having to upgrade. |

| 172197 | 2003-09-01 06:17:00 | MSN 5 is the only version that will work on Win95. Sadly, Microsoft no longer support Win95, so there's no real reason for them to keep updating apps for the platform. If you go to: http://messenger.xtramsn.co.nz And follow the download links, it'll get you a Win95 version of MSN 5, you may have simply downloaded a WinNT or XP version of MSN5?! Cheers Chill. |
