172848 2003-09-03 21:06:00 I reinstalled Word 2000 a while back, opting not to install help or clippy, since that wastes space. So I start it up and up pops a windows installer thing that says "This feature is on a disk and is unavailable" or something like that. It starting doing this the first time I used it after reinstalling, and it is driving me CRAZY! It want's to install help! I did the "Detect and Repair" thing, but that didn't work! I HATE you MICROSOFT!
But can anyone help me, (without reinstalling or enabling help) to get rid of this stupid error message? Thanks.

172849 2003-09-03 21:06:00 It also gives me the message when I quit, start a new document, close a document, open, etc. Wilky (776)

I have them installed but have chained clippy to his outside kennel. Never to be seen again, but I actually use the help info from time to time.
