I keep receiving an e-mail from deamon...which also has a sub directory address. I have blocked both addresses but still this mail gets thru... can anyone help me stop this...i aint up to date with the lingo etc so you mite have to break it down into idiots language...thanks |

The daemon is, as I understand it, the e-mail server used by clearnet, xtra etc.. Usually it is trying to tell you something such as the e-mail you are sending there is no address at the other end for it, or the attachment is too big, or it contanied a virus etc So basically it is to do with not being able to deliver an e-mail you sent.
Have a read and let us know what it says if you are not sure. |

Just delete any virus loaded message, if you block or bounce it back the sender ISP will return it to you as it usually is a false address or the originator has been infected and his/her Inbox is flowing over the top and not accepting any further messages. Currently about a third of my in mail is infected, Xtra are deleting the virus files, on the first day of SobigF virus I bounced them back and am still getting the odd one returned for the above reasons. |
