| 172809 | 2003-09-03 11:28:00 | Hi guys! In Word XP after a page break if I remove the first paragraph in say Normal style, then the next paragraph loses its style such as Title. How can I remove a paragraph but still keep the existing style of the following paragraph that now takes its place? And how can I find that on the Help search function? |

Lost a few hours in the past year trying to tame Styles, but a major improvement if you make sure under Tools - Autocorrect Options - Autoformat as you type - untick "Define Styles based on your formatting" Somehow page breaks seem to be included in the Style and deleting them also deletes the following Style. My overall cure is not to apply Styles until the document is finished. All in all though Word XP is better that 95/97/2000 for all these niggles |
