| 172780 | 2003-09-03 10:58:00 | Neither the taskbar nor the desktop shortcuts will load up IE6. I have had to use Windows Explorer to locate FAVOURITES and activate to the internet via this site. Should I uninstal IE6 and then try to reinstall. I am using WinXP. Gary |

| 172784 | 2003-09-04 04:10:00 | I think I may have rectified the problem(I hope!). I found an .exe file in program files that seemed to work and replaced the desktop and taskbar icons with shortcuts to this file and then went in to a tools folder in Outlook Express (after finding a reference in MS OE on the internet)and changed a link/folder to point to the same .exe file as the others. If need be I could most probably go back and nut out what I did. Things are working OK at the moment, Here's hoping they stay that way. Gary |
