| 172744 | 2003-09-03 08:13:00 | Is there any web site where you can type in the some words from a song and be able to tell you who sings the song. | Annanz (3044) | ||

Pick a less common string of 6 or 7 words exactly as they occurin the song . As an example "we all live in a yellow submarine" returns hits on the writers, the film script and the music score . No doubt there will be dedicated lyric search pages, but Google could give you wider info? |

| 172747 | 2003-09-03 11:56:00 | Im gonna put in another vote for google... Ya just cant beat it, seeing as certain 'lyrics databases', like letssingit.com wouldnt have the song Godfather mentioned.... I usually look for songs/lyrics etc like this: Lyrics Artist_name Song_name Or, if I know some of the Lyrics: Lyrics "We All live in a yellow submarine" and you'd get an artitst and song name ;-) Practise and play with it and you will learn very quickly how to get the results you desire! Cheers Chill. |
