| 172634 | 2003-09-02 23:38:00 | Never had this happen before so not sure how to go about stopping it. Using Windows 98SE and keep updated with MS patches etc. Sometime ago I received message to download 823559. Downloaded it but keep getting repeated messages to download it. Checked on installation history and it has been successfully downloaded along with all other patches and critical updates. Apart from ignoring the message, any other suggestions would be appreciated Iris |

| 172636 | 2003-09-03 02:13:00 | Thanks JM I'm getting the message from Windows Critical Update Notification that there is a new update to download. When I go to the Windows Update page that particular one (823559) is in the critical update list even though I have already installed it. |

The little bubble comes up in the tray at the bottom right hand corner saying that there are downloads there when I have already downloaded them. I just keep right clicking each time it comes up and eventually it gets the message. I am using XP. Cheers all. |
