| 172619 | 2003-09-02 23:24:00 | Hi folks. Have a small prob which has just started in the last few days. My screensaver won't activate after the pre-set time and also when I put the computer into sleep mode in won't wake up. Power light comes back on but nothing appears on monitor. Running win 2000 Professional. Help appreciated. | Tony S. (450) | ||

Check in your Device Manager and make sure there's nothing in there with Warnings for starters, because that could be causing trouble with it trying to come out of Sleep mode. Things I've had trouble with in the past are: Display Drivers, NIC Drivers Modem's Hope this helps at least point you in the right direction Cheers Chill. |

Have updated the drivers for the modem. Also rang xtra, who said to unplug the cordless phone, which made no difference at all. This machine is bugging me, as just about every time I turn it on, something has changed. Cheers |
