172608 2003-09-03 04:21:00 I'd listen to CoolBlue (96.1) if I could receive it, but my home's in a bit of a trough and can't get decent reception. So it's normally Hauraki or MoreFM. Below is current playlist from CoolBlue

172610 2003-09-03 04:29:00 I never listen to the radio, can’t stand the dribble that pretends to be music, or the dribble that attempts to be humour.

What i do listen to is mp3's, after ripping my entire cd collection to my harddrive, and every cd i could borrow off my friends and family, plus the few i have downloaded i now have a collection somewhere near 7000 songs.

The computer is hooked up to a 5.1 system, the stereo in the living room (again 5.1) is hooked up to a DVD player that plays mp3s, and a couple months back i bought a cd player for my wagon that can play mp3s.

In fact, I have one cd in my car with 141 songs on it, I just press random and I’m set.

172613 2003-09-03 06:45:00 Like you I also used to listen to Channel Z. Gave up on them when they were off the air for months in Auckland. Now I listen to Groove Salad on SomaFM (rebroadcasted by Paradise here (www.paradise.net.nz)) when I'm on my computer and being a Christian, I also listen to LifeFM when I'm not listening to SomaFM. segfault (655)
172614 2003-09-03 07:14:00 I mainly tune into the Rock (93.0 around here) but "'er indoors" prefers Solid Gold (93.8) so I get to listen to that a lot. I am not a greek tho, defintely of anglo-saxon decent with just enough local blood to claim a bit of beach ;-) andy (473)
172615 2003-09-03 08:01:00 Here's a vote for National Radio.
Otherwise Hauraki has the good hard stuff rather than the middle-of-the-road soft rock that seems to dominate any classic hits programme.
However MP3s of Joe Satriani have lately been disturbing the quiet of our house. Excellent!
