2003-09-04 03:40:00 | Have you checked your internet settings...servers ..logon password etc doesnt sound like you are actually logging on to your ISP... | wheatsack (4001) | |
2003-09-04 03:41:00 | You could try a Window Repair. This is done by rebooting with the Win XP CD and choosing Repair. It will not have any effect on your programs and data. There have been posts on the forum with instructions if you need more advice. | Fire-and-Ice (3910) | |
2003-09-04 03:58:00 | In IE got to Tools|Internet options| Connections Make sure you have "Always dial my default connection" selected and your ISP connection has default alongside it in the box above Apply and OK Close IE Go to Start|Connect to|Your ISP connection Click on Dial from the connect screen that comes up and check you are actually connecting and you are showing the two little computers by your time in the botton right corner. If it does not connect note the error message or error number. If it is showing connected, open IE and check web pages.

2003-09-05 03:04:00 | Yes I can connect to my isp at the same speed as normal but that is where it stops. I can`t download updates to NAV or anything else. Yes I have tried windows repair but could not connect to MS.

2003-09-05 06:33:00 | Trying a very long shot here that may be irrelevant since NAV does not work, but in Internet Explorer make sure that Work Offline is not ticked under File. Also check that the same setting is not enabled in OE. | tommy (2826) | |
