| 172603 | 2003-09-02 22:23:00 | Agreed.... Who needs to listen to the radio.. I AM the radio.. well.. sorta ;-) Who else has setup a shoutcast station with WinAmp? ..I did it about 9 months back, and had three listeners over the entire time it was up (fifty minutes!) ;-) Sadly though, I havent got my laptop back off a friend, so I cant play my MP3's in the car.. so its ZM I s'pose :-) |

| 172604 | 2003-09-02 22:59:00 | Well, I'm not really a geek, more a sort-of geek wannabee I guess, so I listen to Cool Blue 96.1 because it has no announcers (beyond the occasional station ID) and virtually zero advertising. They don't even announce the music tracks, you have to note the time and check the website playlist to find out who you were listening to! Cool Blue is also on-air as an internet radio station (http://www.coolblue.co.nz). Sundays are BFM day though for the Slightly Silly Show, which I record and listen to while out in my car because the language can be a bit strong for family consumption!!!!! Cheers Billy 8-{) :D |
