172843 2003-09-03 20:48:00 I go to ad/remove to tidy up but have heaps of thing on the list which will not uninstall.
Says its not there (because I have previously removed but it hasn't gone) DLL file not available etcetc

Is there a programme that will go through my stuf and give me the option to remove besides the add/remove which wont work on some???????????

172844 2003-09-03 21:46:00 Download jv16 powertools , use it's registry tool and you can remove the programs out of the uninstall list. Pheonix (280)
172845 2003-09-03 22:02:00 You don't mention what version of windows you have .

Try this ( . aurelitec . com/software/arplus/download . htm" target="_blank">www . aurelitec . com) its a free trial otherwise you'll be in for some registry editing . Arenthe programs in question still in your, Sart > Programs, list or have you tried to remove some with their own uninstall tool?

172847 2003-09-04 00:52:00 Smart Uninstaller from here (www.webattack.com) is a really excellent simple uninstall utility that will also remove dead entries in the MS Add/Remove. Works on all MS platforms. It's much easier to use than jv16 as its dedicated to uninstalling. I like no brainer software, especially when its free :) Terry Porritt (14)
